The advanced Artificial Intelligence platforms provided by Aerial Robotics specialize in areas such as surveillance, security, and man overboard scenarios. D2 STORM is an amphibious drone that has the capability of operating fully both beneath the water, at the surface of the water, and achieve flight from the surface of the water. Ask Maritime Global about organizing a demo.

A Robust and resilient multi-purpose high-speed IP68 oceanic drone aerial system, fully autonomous, reliably operating in U-space in any weather conditions.

This D2 Storm system architecture is around 3 key components:

  • A fully waterproof/weatherproof drone.

  • IP68 rated, that can withstand winds up to gale force 8 winds, heavy rain, and snow - thermal amplitudes ranging from -10 degrees C to +40 degrees C.

  • The drone is a custom quadcopter, small, with a wingspan of about 35cm; it can float, and is made of special carbon composite, titanium, ceramic, and tempered glass.

  • Cruise speeds of 100km/h in force 7 winds, and a top speed of 200km/h.

  • It can transport multiple concurrent payloads up to 500 grams, such as multiple thermal cameras at the same time and/or various sensors.

  • The drone flies up to 10 km using a high precision and refresh rate quad concurrent GNSS system, Galileo enhanced.

  • D2 Storm features an AI core driving an infrared camera enabling precision landing and take-off in any weather conditions; A centimetric precision landing/take-off system using infrared laser technology housed into a 1m*1m*1m weatherproof connected and Galileo enhanced pod. It consists of a connected infrared laser beacon in the pod, and an AI core driving an infrared camera embedded inside the drone.

A centimetric precision landing/take-off system using infrared laser and AI technology, enabling our drones to take-off and land in high winds and difficult conditions with centimetric precision.

  • ARCO1 produces and develops the precision landing/take-off system, and plan to further miniaturize it, protect it in a pod, and link it to a Galileo GNSS system; - A cross-platform server/client software, which can be white-labeled and integrated in existing command/commercial systems.
